Meet The Team

Ellery Tarife was born and raised in New York. He is currently residing in Bergen County, New Jersey, and has been a practicing Nurse Practitioner with over 20 years of experience.

He holds a Bachelor’s Degree from The State University of New York in Buffalo, a Master’s Degree from Columbia University, and a Post-Master’s Certificate in Psychiatry and Mental Health from Maryville University.

Ellery is dually licensed in Family Medicine as well as Psychiatry and has worked in numerous settings, ranging from hospital environments to outpatient facilities.

Over the past 8 years, Ellery has focused much of his attention on treating addiction and those suffering from this challenging illness.

My practice focuses on providing compassionate and effective treatment for depression, anxiety, PTSD, OCD, and various other mental health needs. I utilize a holistic approach, considering each individual's unique needs and circumstances to develop tailored treatment strategies. These strategies may include medication management, cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), mindfulness techniques, and other evidence-based interventions to promote emotional well-being and improved quality of life.

My services encompass a patient-centered approach, including psychiatric evaluations, diagnosis of mental health conditions, personalized treatment plans, medication management with careful monitoring, and evidence-based psychotherapy to support individuals in achieving their mental health
