Ellery Tarife was born and raised in New York. He is currently residing in Bergen County New Jersey and has been a practicing Nurse Practitioner with over 20 years of experience. He has his Bachelor’s Degree from The State University of New York in Buffalo, received his Master’s Degree at Columbia University, and completed a Post-Master’s Certificate in Psychiatry and Mental Health from Maryville University.

Ellery is dually licensed in Family Medicine as well as Psychiatry and has worked in numerous locations ranging from hospital settings to outpatient facilities. Over the past 8 years, Ellery has focused much of his attention to treating addiction and those suffering from this dreaded illness. He understands the importance of physical well-being, as well as mental well-being, and will work together with you to develop a treatment plan that addresses the "entire person."

On his days off, he likes to spend time with his family and enjoys camping, golfing and skiing.
